 Hello, 

my name is Tea and I'm Belgrade based maker.. I started this blog long time ago, wanting to document my sewing and knitting journey.. After discovering online sewing community at the beginning of 2010, I become aware that I can learn to sew and make anything I wanted and imagined.. I started exploring sewing  and knitting tutorials, tips of other sewists and knitters,  which eventually made me get the courage to start sharing my makes to the world..  I can proudly say that I'm selfthought in sewing and knitting..

First platform where I started sharing my projects was Kollabora.. I'm glad that this site still exists, so if you are curious, you can hop over there and see tons of my makes from the beginning of my sewing addiction.. Second website that was, at the time, the main platform for sharing sewing adventures - Burda Style, has changed the website, and projects from all members are not visible anymore.. 

With life changes, and Instagram being more at hand, my main focus for sharing me made projects become my IG profile @lejditea.. Meanwhile, I was invited to collaborate with Minerva.com and now I'm their brand ambassador.. That collaboration with deadlines was a motivation for me to continue sewing for myself and to actually document my projects..

I finished studies of Archaeology at University of Belgrade, and after 12 years of fieldwork, I had to make a tough decision and say goodbye to that world.. Not having any actual experience in real world, with help of my good friend Mokosha I become a team member of Cloth and Clay shop in Belgrade. It was a practical solution for me to continue sewing, but without having to keep all the clothes for myself.. Let's be honest, when you're a maker you easily get to the point of overproduction, which is not good.. 

Meanwhile, I started working at Liupka Srbija, a local shop which is specialized in selling sewing machines, fabrics, yarns and notions.. That is like heaven on Earth for every sewing and knitting addict..

Hope you'll enjoy projects I share.. Burda Style was my main source for sewing patterns.. Lately I started exploring more indie sewing patterns and the Big 4 patterns.. I love pattern hacking, but with all my daily tasks, I don't have much time for experiments.. I'm a sucker for fun prints and good quality fabrics and yarns.. I try to keep myself from buying more fabrics and yarns, but I'm not so successful in that..
